Welcome to the home of Cub Scout Pack 10 on the web! We are one of the 50 oldest packs in the nation, having been active for over 90 continuous years in the small village of Honeoye Falls, a short drive south of Rochester, New York.
We currently hold pack meetings on Wednesday evenings, and most dens choose to meet on Wednesday nights as well.
What is Cub Scouting?
Cub Scouting is a year-round family program designed for boys and girls who are in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Cub Scouts are organized by grade level and gender into "dens" led by adult leaders. These dens together with the adult leaders and the committee form the "pack". Children in kindergarten are Lions. First graders are Tiger Scouts, second graders are Wolf Scouts, third graders are Bear Scouts, fourth and fifth graders are Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts. Depending on den size and member preference, dens of different ages and/or genders may choose to meet together.
Each of the ranks is earned by completing age appropriate activities and requirements, and by demonstrating a willingness to behave according to the ideals of Cub Scouting.
Once the Cub Scouting program is completed, it's time for the next adventure: Scouts BSA!
Cub Scouting means "doing". Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the children doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting- citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack. The most important are the weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings.
Recognition is important to children. The Cub Scouting advancement plan provides fun,, gives the kids a sense of personal achievement as they earn badges, and strengthens family understanding as adult family members work with their children on advancement projects.
Cub Scout enrollment is open year round, so you can join at anytime. However, spring and the start of school are usually the most popular times to sign up.

Instilling Values
Today’s world is complicated. Work, school, family, sports, religion and extracurricular activities pull parents and children in several different directions. As a parent, you want your child to grow up to be a self-reliant, dependable, and caring individual.
Cub Scouting achieves these out comes by combining fun with educational activities and lifelong values. It also helps parents strengthen character, develop good citizenship, and enhance both mental and physical fitness in young boys and girls. Additionally, Cub Scouting provides children with positive peer groups and tools to shape their future.
In Cub Scouting, children learn ideals like honesty, bravery, thrift and respect. These values help them make constructive decisions throughout their lifetimes and give them the confidence they need to grow and develop.
In Cub Scouting, children, families, leaders, and chartered organizations work together to achieve the following:
- Influence a child's character development and spiritual growth
- Help kids develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship
- Encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing strong mind and body
- Improve understanding within the family
- Strengthen the ability to get along with others
- Help foster a sense of personal achievement by developing new interested and skills
- Provide fun and exciting new things to do
- Prepare them for the full experience of Scouting
